Welcome to BTPM+

BTPM+ is the brand new, FREE streaming service from Buffalo Toronto Public Media. It is created with our Western New York and Southern Ontario communities in mind. It is designed to be simple, accessible, and available on the devices you use every day.

With BTPM+, you can:

  • Stream a wide selection of BTPM and PBS programs on demand

  • Explore locally curated collections selected for our region

  • Access additional content with PBS Passport when you support BTPM

Two Ways to Stream

1. BTPM+ (Free)

With free BTPM+, you can:

  • Watch beloved PBS and BTPM programs on demand

  • Enjoy our locally curated collections

  • Stream with minimal ad interruptions

  • Create a free PBS account to save favorites and continue watching across devices

Live Streaming Notice:
Live channel streaming is available where permitted by geographic area. All viewers, regardless of location, will continue to have access to a large library of free on demand BTPM and PBS programs.


2. BTPM+ with PBS Passport

When you support BTPM with a contribution of 5 dollars per month or 60 dollars per year, you unlock everything in free BTPM+ plus:

  • Thousands of additional PBS episodes

  • Early access to select new dramas

  • Exclusive international series and films

  • Full seasons of many PBS favorites

  • More ways to enjoy the BTPM and PBS content you love

What You Can Watch On Demand

BTPM+ offers a large and regularly updated selection of on demand programs. Availability can vary based on geographic rights, but viewers in both the United States and Canada will find a wide range of new and popular titles to enjoy.

You may see programs such as:

  • Masterpiece dramas and mysteries

  • NOVA, Nature, and other science programs

  • New Ken Burns and Henry Louis Gates Jr. series

  • Great Performances and other arts programs

  • FRONTLINE, PBS NewsHour, and Washington Week

  • BTPM originals such as Kleinhans’ Gift to Buffalo, Compact History, and Our Town

Availability Notice:
Program availability can vary by location. Some titles may not be accessible outside the United States due to rights restrictions, but all viewers will have access to a large library of free on demand BTPM and PBS programs.


Live Streaming

If you want to watch in real time, the LIVE menu in the BTPM+ app includes:

Availability:
Live streaming availability depends on broadcast rights and viewer location. Viewers outside the BTPM broadcast area may not have access to some or all live channels. On demand programs remain available to all viewers.
